The Nigerian Presidency has issued a warning over the growing conflict between Israel and Iran, announcing plans to evacuate Nigerian citizens from Lebanon.

Iran launched hundreds of missiles at Israel in retaliation for Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's assassination, escalating the conflict between Israel and Iran. Israel's military spokesperson promises action.

On October 1, the Presidency instructed Nigerians in Lebanon to contact the Nigerian mission for profiling, documentation, and eventual evacuation.

Dada Olusegun, President Bola Tinubu's special adviser on social media, announced the development in a tweet on Tuesday night.
