Houthis Are Providing Education To Students Who Have Been Suspended Due To The US Protest Crackdown.

Yemen's Houthi militia, aligned with Iran, is offering a place for US university students suspended for anti-Israeli protests, despite disrupting global shipping to support Palestinians in Gaza.

Students protesting in Gaza have called on President Biden to intervene and demand divestment from companies supporting Israel's government. Many schools, including Columbia University, have called in police to quell the protests. Sanaa University, run by the Houthis, supports Palestinians.

Sanaa University supports US students' humanitarian stance and allows them to continue their studies in Yemen, condemning suppression of freedom of expression by academics and students of US and European universities.

The US and Britain have added the Houthi militia to terrorist groups' list due to their Red Sea attacks. The Houthi's offer of US education sparked sarcasm among Yemenis, including American students.
