The "Saudi Smash" tournament, set to debut at Jeddah's King Abdullah Sports City from May 4 to 11, is expected to boost table tennis in the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia's Table Tennis Federation, World Table Tennis, and the Ministry of Sport are organizing an event to promote active lifestyles, with nearly 5,000 players registered and 181 clubs, including athletes like Ali Alkhadrawi and Abdulaziz Bu Shulaybi.

The Kingdom's Vision 2030 plan aims to increase sports participation by 40%, with a 300% increase since 2015, particularly among females.
