Lebanese authorities have uncovered alarming details about the recent explosions involving communications devices in Lebanon. A letter sent to the U.N. Security Council by Lebanon's mission revealed that explosive devices had been secretly implanted into pagers and hand-held radios before they arrived in the country.

According to a report obtained by Reuters, these devices were remotely detonated through electronic signals. The Lebanese U.N. mission has directly accused Israel of orchestrating and executing these attacks, which targeted Hezbollah's communication infrastructure.

The explosions, which occurred on Tuesday and Wednesday, claimed the lives of 37 people and left around 3,000 others injured, severely overwhelming hospitals across Lebanon. The attacks have created widespread disruption for Hezbollah, the militant group impacted by the blasts.

While Israel has not officially commented on the incident, security experts have speculated that the operations were likely carried out by Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, known for conducting high-level international operations.

The U.N. Security Council, composed of 15 members, is set to convene on Friday to discuss the devastating blasts and their implications for regional security.
